D’habitude assez prompte à critiquer le pathétique public français, tellement bien personnifié par ce pauvre Lalanne, la rédaction avait pour ce dernier pigeon mensuel de 2017 mis en avant nos supporters bien à nous. Vous avez été nombreux à partager ce choix.

Ce sont évidemment les sifflées du public suite à la ridicule prestation de Seferovic contre l’Irlande du Nord qui sont en cause. Comme l’a brillamment écrit Chessex, s’il était possible que des sifflets ne soient pas les seuls éléments qu’on retienne du public après une qualification… Et pourtant au sein même de la rédaction les réactions avaient été partagées au sortir de ce barrage. J’avoue que je fais partie de ceux qui ne savent pas s’ils auraient sifflé lors de la sortie de ce grand pin aux deux pieds bot. Quand je me rappelle que ce clampin a 25 ans, je me demande par quel miracle il est possible que j’aie l’impression que ça fait 30 ans que je le trouve nul. Je prends donc une partie de ce pigeon pour moi.

Sur la deuxième marche du podium, on retrouve Léo Lacroix, pour son tacle débile sur Fekir, dont il n’aura jamais le quart du talent, et qui le fait rejoindre instantanément le gotha de l’intelligentsia helvétique à l’étranger, avec Ruefli et Morganella. Enfin, les scores confidentiels de Streit et de Di Lello frisent l’erreur de casting.

Election du Pigeon d’Or 2017

Nous voici donc en ce début 2018 avec onze pigeons à départager, que je vous liste ci-dessous :

Voici comment le vote va s’organiser :

• Dès aujourd’hui et jusqu’au mercredi 17 janvier, vous pourrez voter pour élire les deux finalistes d’un premier groupe de cinq Pigeons, tous issus du monde du football (car pour contredire notre lectrice « Paf » dans son commentaire de septembre, nos lecteurs ne sont pas tous des hommes qui votent pour le football : sur onze pigeons, seuls cinq sont liés au foot).
• Du jeudi 18 janvier au samedi 3 février, vous pourrez voter pour élire les deux finalistes du second groupe de six Pigeons, avec zéro morceau de ballon rond dedans.
• Enfin, vous aurez tout le mois de février pour départager les quatre finalistes. Rappelons que dans le mesure du possible, il s’agira ensuite pour la Rédac d’aller remettre le trophée du Pigeon d’Or 2017 à l’heureux vainqueur.

Après un break de quelques années, aurons-nous le plaisir de remettre le pigeon à notre victime en personne, comme cela avait été le cas en 2013 pour Pascale Blattner et en 2007 pour Christian Constantin ? Rappelons par exemple qu’en 2008, sa Seigneurie Pierre-Alain Dupuis avait refusé de nous rencontrer…
